The Whiskey Sessions started when three old (by this point) musicians met to get reacquianted and drink som whiskey. The whole think quickly turned into a recurring even about booze, music, and on-the-spot creativity. We get together, pop the cork, and get cracking on writing a song. The goal is to compose, write lyrics, perform and record an entire song in a single evening, preferably before the neighbors start banging on the wall or the audio interface burns up.

We often mix and master when we've had a chance to sober up, but we are proud to challenge ourselves to achieve all of this in a short period of time. And it's a lot of fun too......

After many months without a Whiskey Session Adam celebrated his birthday with one at Johan's place, first time there. The neighbours who were madly inebriated were quite surprised and impressed that we make music while partying. johno engineered, the rest of us sang our hearts out, the guitars handing on the walls vibrated sympathetically, and Adam was actually sober... again... The song ended up with lyrics that even we don't understand but that have a strong vibe of Danzig. The riff as "borrowed" from Nanne Grönwall... We were finished by 10pm, that's definitely a record. But the party continued. And 50 vocal takes.

We mixed it waaaaay later (we blame Astro Creeps). Adam, Mad and johno all helped out. Big thanks to Tron Legacy and Auto-Filter. Everything is saturated in crunchy artifacts from Johan's weird hard drives and Nanne can't much be heard in the final product. And Salim Bengoaz finally found a forum...
