I have been writing music since about the age of 11, and have found that I like to work on things in a project-based manner. I am constantly writing new stuff, and as soon as something cohesive gets completed, I plan to release it digitally in some form.

My most recent releases (via Record Union) include:

Older "albums / musical projects that are cohesive" can be experienced via the player above. Information about each project as well as lyrics are available below. Enjoy!

  2. last night I was on my way
down the street looking for a cafe
then it was there - what did I hear?
bluespower making sweet love to my ear yeah

the sound was like the oceans making love to the sky...

she was there when I walked in the room
almost couldn't hear above my heart going boom boom boom

okay - got to cool it down now
hey hey yeah - she just blew me away
so hot - my brain is gonna melt babe
don't stop no - making me feel this way

    she looked so succulent
all I wanted was to be her instrument
her love was pouring into the microphone
I wish we could have been all alone yeah

she was so beautiful, and so was her Sexophone...

she was there when I walked in the room
almost couldn't hear above my heart going boom boom boom

okay - got to cool it down now
hey hey yeah - she just blew me away
so hot - my brain is gonna melt babe
don't stop no - making me feel this way

I tried to play it cool but she saw right through me
I almost blew my top when she said to me
    "come on baby, kiss it..."

she was there when I walked in the room
almost couldn't hear above my heart going boom boom boom

okay - got to cool it down now
hey hey yeah - she just blew me away
so hot - my brain is gonna melt baby
    hey hey baby

okay - got to cool it down now
hey hey yeah - ooh she just blew me away
so hot - my brain is gonna melt baby yeah
don't stop no - making me feel this way

After (or probably also during) the production of Introverted I started thinking about getting a band together based on some old material that I had written while in the band Heart Killer Team. Talk about re-vamping some of that old stuff had been going on for a few years, and in 2001 I even went so far as to try to put the old band back together again, but it didn't work out.

This time however (the summer of 2004), I felt that I wanted to really figure out what the core sound was, find the best songs, and then run them through my "Max Martin" filter; that is to say that I wanted to reduce them to the bare essentials of what they were trying to communicate. I recorded all the basic guitar, bass and drum tracks myself at home, as well as the vocals, but then got seriously sidetracked by moving to Stockholm to start working at DICE.

It wasn't until I had figured out that I didn't really want to work at DICE anymore that I started thinking seriously about finishing this project. I talked to Tobias Carlsson in Malmö about having him and Daniel Olsén help me finish it, acting as producers/engineers. It turned out that they were available very soon, and so I rushed to finish laying down all the basic tracks, in the process actually wearing a hole in my main guitar-solo finger.

After a week of intense final arrangement and mastering, Funk Revival turned out very much to my liking, and I felt that this was a good basis for a new band; after moving to Gothenburg, this became the basis of UP...
